A Mother’s Decree
To every mother who has ever wondered if she could do it...
I know what it feels like to become a mother and realize, almost overnight, that your life is no longer just your own.
My motherhood journey began in a way I never imagined.
My pregnancy was complicated by preeclampsia. By the time my daughter arrived, my body had endured more than I knew how to process. I came dangerously close to losing my life bringing hers into the world.
And when I survived the delivery, I didn't immediately feel like the woman everyone expected me to be.
I fell into postpartum depression.
I was overwhelmed. Exhausted. Afraid. Trying to comprehend the weight of becoming responsible for another human being while barely recognizing myself.
There were moments when I looked at my life and saw a woman who had made mistakes. A woman who had become a mother under circumstances she never planned. A woman who felt like she had somehow lost herself in the process.
Then one day, God told me to wash my face.
So I did.
Nothing dramatic happened.
I simply washed my face.
But that one act became the beginning of something I didn't know I needed: proof that I could still show up for myself.
The next day, I did it again.
Then again.
Seven days passed.
And somewhere between those seven days, something changed.
I stopped looking at myself and seeing only the woman who had struggled.
I started seeing me.
A mother.
A woman.
A survivor.
A woman who had taken responsibility for the life she had chosen to bring into this world.
A woman who could still rebuild.
So I did.
I began putting myself back together in the smallest ways. I began reclaiming pieces of myself. I began remembering that motherhood did not mean the death of my identity, my dreams, my beauty, or my purpose.
It meant I had another reason to fight for them.
And that realization changed the direction of my life and my business.
This is why Radimaè exists.
Radimaè was revived from a place of personal restoration.
What began as skincare became something much deeper: a reminder that caring for yourself is not selfish. That restoration can begin with something as simple as washing your face. That sometimes the smallest act of care can become the first evidence that you are ready to come back to yourself.
I built Radimaè for women, but especially for mothers who are constantly pouring into everyone else.
The mothers who are building careers.
Raising children.
Starting businesses.
Holding families together.
Starting over.
Healing quietly.
Showing up when they don't feel like it.
The mothers who have forgotten that they are still worthy of care, too.
My decree is simple:
I will not allow motherhood to convince us that we must disappear.
I believe a mother deserves to nurture herself while nurturing her children.
I believe restoration is not a luxury.
I believe beauty can be more than appearance. It can be the feeling of returning to yourself.
I believe every woman deserves moments where she can pause, breathe, care for her skin, care for her spirit, and remember who she is.
And I believe that when a woman begins to restore herself, she changes what is possible for the people she loves.
That is the woman I became.
And that is the woman Radimaè exists to serve.
From one mother to another:
You are not the mistakes you made.
You are not the season that nearly broke you.
You are not the version of yourself you had to become to survive.
You are still here.
And sometimes, restoration does not begin with having your whole life figured out.
Sometimes it begins with one small decision to care for yourself again.
Wash your face.
Take the shower.
Drink the water.
Say the prayer.
Rest.
Try again tomorrow.
Then do it again.
And again.
Until one day, you look in the mirror and realize:
You didn't just survive.
You found yourself again.
That is my decree for every mother who finds her way to Radimaè:
You are worthy of restoration.
You are worthy of care.
You are worthy of becoming again.
And I will spend my life building spaces, products, experiences, and opportunities that remind women of exactly that.
For every mother rebuilding herself,
I see you.
And I am building for you.
With love,
The Founder of Radimaè
Radimaè — Restoration for the woman who gives so much of herself.
